Welcome to SOS Painting. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our services and website. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Overview

SOS Painting provides professional painting and related services including but not limited to:

  • Residential interior and exterior painting
  • Commercial painting
  • Wood replacement services
  • Waterproofing
  • Pressure washing
  • Additional services as described on our website

2. Estimates and Quotes

All estimates and quotes provided by SOS Painting are:

  • Subject to on-site inspection: Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions discovered during inspection
  • Valid for 30 days: Quotes expire after 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise specified
  • Non-binding: Until a written contract is signed by both parties
  • Based on information provided: Changes to project scope may affect pricing

Important: Estimates are approximations based on the information available at the time of quotation. Actual costs may vary based on unforeseen circumstances discovered during the project.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Payment Schedule

Unless otherwise specified in your contract:

  • Deposit: A deposit may be required before work begins
  • Progress payments: May be required for larger projects
  • Final payment: Due upon project completion and your satisfaction

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

NO REFUND POLICY: SOS Painting does not offer refunds once work has commenced. All sales are final.

4.1 Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you need to cancel before work begins:

  • Written notice must be provided
  • Deposits may be forfeited to cover administrative costs and lost opportunity
  • Materials already purchased are non-refundable

4.2 Cancellation After Work Begins

Once work has started:

  • No refunds will be issued
  • You are responsible for payment for all work completed to date
  • Materials purchased for your project are non-refundable

5. Warranty

1-YEAR WARRANTY ON LABOR: We stand behind our workmanship with a one-year warranty on all labor.

5.1 What's Covered

Our 1-year labor warranty covers:

  • Defects in workmanship
  • Peeling or flaking caused by improper application
  • Issues resulting from our work processes

5.2 What's NOT Covered

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by the property owner or third parties
  • Damage from extreme weather events
  • Underlying surface issues (e.g., wood rot, structural problems)
  • Damage caused by improper maintenance
  • Color fading (a natural process over time)
  • Material defects (covered by manufacturer warranty)
